  - Like many I started carrying Ka-Bar's at 19 in the Infantry. I really wish the Slabby existed back then because it's an improvement on an already perfect knife. Stronger by a lot but still balanced well. Not over-hardened for a fighting knife, which is a must for a blade that can't fail. Now I pray they make a Coyote Brown handle scale and sheath for my Marine Corps kit. Thank you Ka-Bar

  - The answered Prayer to all Ka-Bar enthusiasts and collectors, a FULL TANG Ka-Bar Blade! Removeable handle scales, and BOTH Knife and sheath made right here in the USA! Razor sharp right out of the box! Built like a Tank, this "Slabby" 1310 blade surely will get the attention of the Armed Forces... Especially the USMC with whom Ka-Bar is not just a piece of dependable and reliable equipment, but a tradition! This IS NOT a cheaply built knife. I wholeheartedly recommend this blade if you are serious about EDC, Collecting or Duty.

  - Just bought the slabby! Soon as i opened the box first thing i noticed was the weight! I knew this was a different knife! Very sturdy this blade is made for the roughest situations you can throw at it! The blade os insanely sharp and well made! I do love the locking mechanism on the sheath for scout carry. Id say this is 100% worth the buy!
